Welcome:

This site is meant to educate people about the Italian-American crime syndicates that have influenced American history since the implementation of Prohibiton (1920). Also known as the Mafia, these crime syndicates were notorious for having an imprint on the American crime scene and culture throughout their existence. The site examines in depth from all angles, from the rise through the fall as well as significant members. The Mafia has had an influence on American culture for generations and has created a notorious legacy that allows them to be endeared and at the same time hated by the american public.

The critical question we attempted to answer when creating this website was, How was the formation of the American Mafia a significant part of American History and how did this criminal organization leave a lasting impact on the nation for generations?
